With music by Hans Eisler and lyrics by Bertolt Brecht (translations by Eric Bentley), this radio-play with music in one act was adapted from transcripts of hearings of the House Un-American Activities Committee, April, 1947. The transcripts were adapted and music arranged by Jonathan Berger.

The Calidore String Quartet’s residency at Stanford is part of the St. Lawrence String Quartet’s Emerging String Quartet Program.
The student artists in The Interrogation are all participants in ITALIC (Immersion in the Arts: Living in Culture), a residentially based yearlong academic program for freshmen that uses art as the frame for discussing big ideas.
