Junior Level Position in Race and Ethnicity

The Department of Philosophy at Stanford University is seeking applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor.

Candidates from any subarea of philosophy whose work has the potential to directly illuminate issues in race and ethnicity are encouraged to apply.   Applicants will be expected to teach courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels in the area of race and ethnicity. The successful applicant will regularly offer courses that can be cross-listed in the undergraduate curriculum of the Center for Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity. The successful applicant is also expected to become a member of the Center’s affiliated faculty.
