I am mainly interested in the history and philosophy of science – especially in its overlap with medicine, mind, and mental illness. My current focus is on the classification and explanation of psychiatric disorders, along with debates in the philosophy of science about realism, pluralism, social construction, and natural kinds. I have secondary interests in psychology, the history of science, and cultural anthropology.

I am also pursuing an MA in Psychology in the Stanford Psychophysiology Laboratory, run by Professor James Gross, which studies emotion regulation and its disorders. I have a special interest in fear, phobia, and anxiety.

Before this, I completed a Bachelor of Science with Honours and a Master of Science at the University of Sydney, Australia.
