Dissertation Title
Patterns and Probabilities: A Study in Algorithmic Randomness and Computable Learning
My interests mainly revolve around logic—both mathematical and philosophical—and formal epistemology. In particular, I am very interested in the fields of algorithmic randomness and algorithmic information theory, and in their connections with the foundations of probability, the justification of induction, and general computability theory. I am also interested in modal logic, formal learning theory, the philosophy of statistics (especially Bayesian epistemology and confirmation theory) and the philosophy of science.
