I came to Stanford after studying the history of philosophy and researching issues in philosophical reception. My primary interests are the metaphysical underpinnings of various types of inquiry in ancient Greek philosophy; others include the philosophy of art, internalist theories of meaning, global philosophy, criminal justice ethics, Classics, irony, and philosophy as a way of life. I love spending time in museums, watching the films of Agnes Varda, Andrei Tarkovsky, Hollis Frampton and Stan Douglas, and listening to my collection of 45s at 33rpm.
