BA (Hons), University of Oxford
Before arriving at Stanford, I took a degree in Classics focused on Ancient Greek History and Philosophy. I have interests in Ethics and the Philosophy of Language, but currently my primary area of research is Ancient Philosophy and the History of Philosophy. My work at the moment is concerned with Middle Platonic Epistemology and Psychology, and in particular I am considering how certain models of Platonic epistemic powers can accommodate specific types of cognitive contents found in the Republic and other middle dialogues. Aside from that, I have a great deal of time for fine teas, radio programmes, and Buster Keaton.
