Ziyu Guo

My philosophical interests lie in metaphysics, philosophy of language, philosophy of logic, and especially where they overlap. Questions I am currently drawn to include: Does reality have joints? In what sense can we say a metaphysical theory is correct? And what determines the semantic value of our terms? Outside of philosophy, I love virtual singers (e.g., Hatsune Miku) and have been dreaming of creating music for them. Before joining Stanford, I completed my Bachelor's degree in philosophy at Wuhan University.
