Asian Philosophy Reading Group

Confucius Statue

Our group meets biweekly to discuss Asian Philosophy texts, mostly primary but also secondary. In the past, we've read XunziMengziBuddhism as Philosophy, as well as articles answering specific questions. We try to keep the readings light and meetings informal. No background knowledge in Asian philosophy or language needed. For winter quarter '21, we'll read the second half of Chris Fraser's Mozi: The First Consequentialist, meeting schedule TBD.
