Silvia De Toffoli

After a Ph.D. in mathematics (knot theory) from the Technical University of Berlin, I decided to move to philosophy. In particular, in my thesis in philosophy of mathematics I focus on issues concerning the epistemological roles of diagrams and visualizations in the practice of contemporary mathematics. I am also interested in epistemology, philosophy of science, and philosophy and literature.
