BA (Philosophy and Classics), MA (Classics) – University of Toronto

I believe that philosophy is, at its heart, an interdisciplinary investigation – a love of Wisdom and pursuit of Truth that transcends (or, perhaps, transgresses) modern academic divisions. Accordingly, my interests centre on areas of convergence between topics of interest in classics, literary studies, theology, and contemporary philosophy. My recent work has largely been in ancient philosophy, and I have a particular interest in the way that notions of God and the divine shaped the development of philosophical systems in antiquity. Outside of philosophy, my time is often filled with symphonies, poetry, skiing, and French presses.
