Moral Philosophy Reading Group

**Update: The Moral Philosophy Reading Group now meets on a monthly basis.**
Our group meets on a monthly basis to discuss seminal and classic texts in moral philosophy. This academic year (2024-2025) we will focus mainly on the work of a recent figure in the history of moral philosophy: Bernard Williams. We will begin with chapters in his, Truth and Truthfulness, before moving to Shame and Necessity and Ethics and the Limits of Philosophy, making sure to cover other supplemental texts along the way. Our principal aim is to foster more community and interest in moral philosophy across the department and beyond.
For Autumn 24', we'll be meeting on Fridays at 4pm in 240-110. All graduate students who are interested in moral philosophy are welcome to attend.
